Since early this year I have been on the board of directors for the non-profit newspaper organization The Pikes Peak Bulletin. I help the organization with website hosting, email account management, posting the weekly digital edition newspapers and keeping the online community calendar up to date. I was asked by our fearless leader Lyn Ettinger-Harwell if I could possibly do some artwork on one of the newspaper boxes in town to give it a fresh look. I thought about the project and decided to tackle two of them. I cleaned up the black old boxes, power sanded them, and got to work with my exterior weather proof paints! I think they came out really cool! One is located at the Manitou Springs Chamber of Commerce and the other is located at the laundromat in town by the police station.
