Incline Sunrise Inversion
The Manitou Incline is a one-of-a-kind hike—climbing 2,000 vertical feet up the side of a mountain, with a view that must be earned. On rare and lucky mornings, hikers are rewarded with something even more magical: a cloud inversion at sunrise.
This original, highly detailed painting is my creative and colorful interpretation of that breathtaking moment—when you rise above the cold fog blanketing Manitou Springs and emerge into the warm, golden light of morning.
The scene features hidden gems throughout: several chipmunks darting among the rocks, a Canada jay, a Steller’s jay, and a Mule Deer quietly observing from the forest’s edge.
Incline Sunrise Inversion captures the wonder of that climb, the thrill of reaching the top, and the surreal beauty of a mountain morning where earth and sky trade places.

All sizes 11×14 and larger come with 1.5″ solid wood stretch bars and a wire hanger secured to the back for easy installation on a nail, screw, or hook in the wall.
