This original acrylic painting—measuring an impressive six feet wide—is a tribute to the whimsy, history, and mystery of Manitou Springs’ beloved Miramont Castle. Completed over the course of six months, the piece now resides in its forever home right here in Manitou.
Look closely and you’ll discover a world of hidden details: a blue jay, a cat stalking a squirrel, a buck peeking around a corner, hummingbirds, and a number of Easter eggs tucked throughout—including a knight’s armor, curious items in windows, and even the ghost of Emma Crawford.
Each brick was individually hand-painted with care and precision. This painting was a deeply challenging and rewarding project—and I’m so happy to now offer high-quality prints for those who also love Miramont Castle and its storybook charm.
