Campfire at Mt. Lanayru
Prints are available here of my original acrylic on canvas painting featuring Link, Zelda, and a Korok gathered around a warm campfire on a peaceful cliffside. Above them, Naydra the ice dragon soars through the sky, with Mt. Lanayru looming majestically in the distance.
This piece holds a special place in my heart. The Legend of Zelda has been one of my all-time favorite game series since childhood. I grew up playing it on the original Nintendo Entertainment System (NES)—my mom would even draw out dungeon maps for us on graph paper. My brothers and I lived for our subscription to Nintendo Power, and we journeyed through every Zelda title together—from the NES and SNES to the iconic N64.
Although today’s games are visually stunning and incredibly advanced, I’ll always treasure the magic and memories of 1980s–2000s gaming. This painting is my tribute to that legacy.
